“Our group of 13year olds enjoyed a very well organised day. Liam brought some wonderful Japanese prints and the children were excited and fascinated to learn how to produce effective silk screen prints. They were proud of the end results and enjoyed working in small groups and exchanging ideas. I would definitely
recommend this experience to other schools.”

I am an experienced Fine Art Printmaker offering Mobile Printmaking Workshops – i.e. I come to you, bringing with me all the equipment needed to run the workshop.
Printmaking is a fantastic form of inspiration for students (of all abilities) to open their mind to new ways of art making. Above you can see examples of artwork that can be achieved during my workshops.
The experimental approach of printmaking makes it a fantastic way to find new inspiration. Texture, shape, composition, colour, mark making and risk taking are all encouraged in the printmaking process.
I can deliver a workshop that is…..
FLEXIBLE - It can be anything from a two-hour introductory session to an in depth full-day workshop. Workshops can also extend over a period of three days or more.
RELEVANT - It can be linked to topics you are currently exploring.
ALL YOU NEED TO SUPPLY IS A ROOM - the fact I’m ‘mobile’ means all you need to provide is a suitable room for the workshop – I will supply everything from portable printing presses to quality papers.
Printmaking has given me such interesting experiences and continues to challenge me the longer I explore it. Through interactive group work I wish to share these challenges and experiences with you.
If you are interested in the workshops, or simply want an information pack, then please call or email me (details below).
“AS Level Art, Photography and Textiles scholars had the opportunity to extend their
coursework by creating a Photopolymer print. All involved
learnt a great deal, plans have been made to run this workshop more frequently to allow the scholars to develop their work further and create new ideas and prints.”
“The experience was very good, the students enjoyed the task and the feed back from the staff regarding the
resources used and how the students reacted was excellent.”
“An inspiring series of workshops both for myself and the students. The whole group found Liam very
approachable and extremely supportive.”
